im sure PRIYADARSHAN and SIDDIQUE (the guy who made salmans BODYGUARD) dont know much hindi.

These directors only remade their previous movies to Hindi. I believe it would've been fairly simple as the remakes were mostly shot to shot. They might struggle to make original movies. |

While Ramu and even Puri Jagganath might have a fair knowledge of Hindi, several South Indian directors made Hindi movies in the 80s and early 90s. They probably didn't know a lot of Hindi.
I find it difficult to believe Priyadarshan doesn't know Hindi.

Indeed it is difficult to believe about priyadarshan as he made so many hindia remakes. Special credit should be given to neeraj vora for all the dialouges he wrote for priyan's films.

I think he understands hindi and he has trouble speaking it. i heard sometimes his assistants compose all the tunes and he just approves it |
