I have no idea what year this was first released (it feels like forever ago now). I tried to find out whether it was late 90’s or early 2000’s, but no such luck. However, I always remember enjoying this Tic Tac ad thanks to Kate Kelton being in it (though I didn’t know who she was back then).
It wasn’t until many years later, after seeing her in one and a half seasons of the TV series Haven, where I came to find out that the actress playing Jordan in that show was in fact the girl from the Tic Tac ad. It was certainly a surprise. I’m just annoyed with myself for never bothering to check out Bullet in the Face, which she was also in.
If anybody could please tell me when this commercial first started airing on TV, it would be greatly appreciated.

I can remember what a thrill tic-tacs were when they FIRST came out during the 1970s. At the time their dispensing case was a novelty plus their size/shape. If I recall, at first it was just he plain strong peppermint (white) for quite sometime. Then spearmint (green) and the orange (well orange) flavors came out. They must have had a cinnamon (red) flavor at one time as well. I don't recall the exact release order other than for a long time it was just the one mint flavor.

Thanks for that. It's the biggest lead/the most I've had to go on thus far. My method of searching wasn't really working for out me, no matter what combination of words I tried, whether with or without Kate Kelton's name included. I could find the different commercials she did, but not the year they were first released. I guess I should probably put 'solved' in my original post's subject line now? Thanks again for your help. I remember seeing that ad too and they used to play it a lot on Channel 7 and 10 but I had no idea the actress in it was the same actress who played Jordan in 'Haven' either so thanks for sharing that with us Chalice.

However, now you've got me wondering who the woman in that ad you linked to is! I'm pretty sure it's not Kate Kelton.  To me she looks like Erica Cerra from Eureka and The 100...
