So edgy, not choosing LOTR.

1. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2. Spirited Away 3. Pan's Labyrinth 4. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 5. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 6. Snowpiercer 7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 8. How to Train Your Dragon 9. Star Wars: The Force Awakens 10. The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 11. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
However, I still need to see a most of the Studio Ghibli movies from this century, so this list will probably change soon.

It's a genre I sometimes find difficult to narrow down...so going for a magic and/or dragons criteria (and picking only one from the big franchises)
Thor: Ragnarok How to Train Your Dragon LOTR: Return Of The King Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Pt 2 Doctor Strange Hellboy II: The Golden Army Stardust The Sorcerer's Apprentice Nanny McPhee

The Time Traveler's Wife Nice to see The Golden Compass on a list of favorite fantasy movies. I always felt it was very underrated and it would probably make my top 20 or top 25 of fantasy movies of the century.

I only started watching it a few years ago because I had previously dismissed it as something I wouldn't like. But I started catching it on tv and Eva Green, Sam Elliott and Iorek Byrnison changed my mind.
