Flair is being interviewed on my favorite sports radio (680 the fan Atlanta) on Friday. I'm happy to see the dirtiest player in the game is healthy enough to do interviews again. Looking forward to the 30 for 30 episode.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Flair making the rounds on ESPN today. Will be on Mike & Mike at 9:00am EST Really interested in this. 30 for 30 does some heart breaking pieces. This guy has had a zillion wives, battled alcoholism, was recently in the hospital and given like a 20% chance to live, even his 'friend' - Big Wig - COO or CEO (whatever it is) in WWE - Paul Levesque (Triple H) calls him a 'consummate liar'.

Woooooo!!!! I heard about this on MNF. I set my DVR, Im ready to go. Massive wrestling fan in the late 80s to early 00s. Now...ehhhhhh, not so much. Come on, Nature boy is a legend. 1992 Royal Rumble is a classic to this day, his matches in WcW is what MADE WcW. (Him and Sting, classics.) Wooooo, to be the man....you got to beat the man. It's time to watch the Stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun!”

I just watched it. It was very good and I'm no wrestling fan. I tapped out then The Iron Sheik was popular and Hogan was a bush leaguer. Tough to see how being "The Nature Boy" becomes your real life persona. I don't know about his boast of sleeping with 10,000 women.
Maxim's list The full Top 10 list of "Living Sex Legends" follows:
10. Bill Wyman (Rolling Stones bassist) - 1,000 9. Earvin (Magic) Johnson (basketball star) - 1,000 8. Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead frontman) - 1,200 7. Jack Nicholson (actor) - 2,000 6. Ilie Nastase (tennis star) - 2,500 5. Engelbert Humperdinck (singer) - 3,000 4. Julio Iglesias (singer) - 3,000 3. Gene Simmons (Kiss frontman) - 4,600 2. Charlie Sheen (actor) - 5,000 1. Umberto Billo (Venetian hotel porter) - 8,000
Doesn't include Wilt Chamberlain and his 20,000. If he did, I tip my hat.

The 'backstories' and 'human interest' stories are really what fascinates me. There's a terrific movie out there with Mickey Rourke called 'The Wrestler' - by the same guy that did Requiem For a Dream. Tears your guts out. Guy had fame and glory. Made some mistakes, got older, and then was hanging on during his middle age years 'touring' basketball gyms to sign autographs and work matches to make a buck and sleeping in his van at times.

You couldn't devise a torture worst for me than making me watch 'Rasslin. I quit while Flair was nothing special, just the guy with the robes, the "Woooo" and Also Sprach Zarathustra. It was still interesting.

It was still interesting. ESPN does terrific human interest stories. 30 for 30. E:60. This was done years ago - about another wrestler - Scott Hall - who was making $1 mil a year - destroyed his life with alcohol and drugs - similar to the clip of the movie 'The Wrestler' above. Love watching pieces about people rising/falling/rising/falling/rising - life's circular - fall 8 times get up 9.

Next 30 for 30, The Two Bills. Belichick and Parcells. Looks like a lot on the Jets years and a climactic face to face.
