“a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of occupation or excitement.”
Been thinking about it. How much of what we do in our lives stems from this ? First came across this term in Antonioni movie, Blow Up. I have come to the conclusion pretty much everything we do is rooted to fill the deep hollow space within us. I am reminded of this Pink Floyd song. Seems fairly accurate. Sense of existing here as pure living being not there anymore. Maybe middle age crisis is around the corner for me.

kubrick, when you wake up in the morning dont you want katrina kaif to be on top of you, lowering her breasts onto your face? are you sexually frustrated?
i think a good life is lived when you work hard constantly, wake up every day and go at it even when you feel lazy.there is a sense of fulfillment when you complete something. it could be the genes too.
recently, i started a lesbian thriller novel set in an american small town. i wrote nearly 19,000 words. i was excited every morning to write this novel.
then i got stuck while writing a long sex scene and have been hitting the bottle for the last month. but there was a sense of fulfillment when i was doing this. it is something i was interested and obsessed with.
i think that space widens when we are occupied by things we do not believe in.
