If you were to score each of their movies then added their scores up, which trilogy comes up on top? Which was better?

I haven't seen Ragnarok yet, but I'll update my post when I have. I also might have to rewatch the first Iron Man and that means that the rating could even go up to a 9/10. So far:
Iron Man: 8/10 Iron Man 2: 5/10 Iron Man 3: 5/10 Total: 18 points
Thor 1: 6/10 or 7/10 The Dark World: 5/10 Ragnarok: haven't seen it yet

I actually love Iron Man 2 a lot. Iron Man was is very solid and well done in a more simple stripped down sort of way. Iron Man 3 is well done, but I also don't really care about it all that much, and not because I think anything about it is bad, it just seems a little superfluous somehow.
Thor 1 I put right on the same level of Iron Man 1. Pretty simple, but actually has some strong character moments in it for multiple characters. Thor 2, again I actually think is really enjoyable, but I keep it on about the same level I suppose. And then Thor 3 I definitely do care about, but I'll have to wait to see long term how it grows on me.
So Iron Man 1 and Thor 1 are pretty equal to me I really love Iron Man 2 and very much enjoy Thor 2, but love beats enjoy there. Thor 3 is definitely higher on the charts than Iron Man 3 though for me
So overall, I have to say Thor just got the edge for me

It's not the question of the thread, but my favorite MCU trilogy is the Captain America one by far.
*Captain America: The First Avenger - 7/10 *Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 9/10 *Captain America: Civil War - 8/10

Thus the question was limited to IM and THor. Which among the two do you prefer?

But I still have to see Ragnarok so I think that movie will decide it for me.

Iron Man easily. It'd be 10; 6; 7 versus 7; 6; 8 for Thor.

I've never quite understood why that's considered a lesser movie. Not saying it's the absolute best, but it's really fun and well done IMO.
I would say it and Thor 1 are equally crafted and equally enjoyable and both good. Iron Man 2 is more enjoyable for me but I wouldn't give TDW a 6 either. Those are more like 8/7 to me. But Ragnarok definitely takes it over IM3 if you ask me. IM3 is fine, I just found it somewhat insignificant, even though it's well made.

The Iron Man movies would add to 23 (9, 7, 7) and the Thor movies would add up to 22 (7, 7, 8) so Iron Man gets the nod.
On a side note the highest I'd score any trilogy would be Lord of the Rings with a 29 (10, 9, 10).

IM2 I truly love and that's probably my favorite, but Thor 3 will be right there with it, and then the originals for both, and then Thor 2, and then IM3, although they're so close I hate ranking them all.

They're both equal for me.
Iron Man: 8/10 Iron Man 2: 7/10 Iron Man 3: 7/10 Total: 22
Thor: 7/10 Thor: The Dark World: 7/10 Thor: Ragnarok: 8/10 Total: 22

IM - 8 IM2 - 6 IM3 - 8
Total Score: 22
Thor - 5 Thor 2 - 4 Thor 3 - 8
Total Score: 17
Maybe I like IM 2 more than most (and I know I like IM3 more than most), so this was an easy answer for me. Ragnarok was a blast but the first two Thor movies were just boring.

There goes your job at the Disney propaganda department! I've always had honest opinions :-) And I would still say there's nothing wrong with IM3, I'm just not excited by it in the same way I am the other 16.
