Okay, is it just me, or has anyone else noticed something VERY odd about all the parked vehicles in this picture?
Anyone?
Say you're the guy who owns the car parked SMACK dab in the middle of that larger bunch of cars off to the right in the foreground, which are parked, not only end to end, but side to side, with about a foot or two, at most, separating each of them.
Now, imagine you're that same guy parked SMACK dab in the middle of all those vehicles, when the stadium announcer pages your name during the game, you find out you've got an emergency call, and it's someone in your family who was rushed to the hospital, so you have to leave IMMEDIATELY.
Now, can ANYBODY please explain to me how in the HELL you would be able to get your car out of the middle of that crush of cars in the next few minutes, without moving, oh, say, about 12 or 13 other vehicles (minimum) first?
The buses on the middle left of this shot, parked the same way just outside the stadium, I can understand, since they all have to stay there until the end of the game anyway.
But all those cars? Parked with absolutely NO way to get one vehicle out if somebody should want to leave even an inning early, unless by some stupid chance, they completely lucked out and it just happens to be parked on the very outside edge of all of them?
And then, when the game is finally over, and everybody is leaving at the same time, THEY ALL HAVE TO LEAVE IN ORDER ?? WITH EVERYBODY PARKED ON THE 'INSIDE' OF THAT CRUSH HAVING TO WAIT UNTIL EVERYBODY ELSE LEAVES THE LOT JUST TO GET IN YOUR CAR?? AND IMAGINE THIS HAPPENING IN THE POURING RAIN......
Seriously, am I missing something here? They couldn't REALLY have been parking their cars this way all the time back then, could they ??
