Of course it is kiddie. What do you think why the has a PG-13 rating. Not only that. Even children under 13, can watch it with they parents. Thats make the movie even more kiddie. And The Punisher is a TV-Show. You really think Disney has the balls, to amke a Rated-R movie? Nope they won't. You will see it with Deadpool 3, if Disney really gets Fox. Again Deadpool can not work as a pg-13 movie. Fixed.

Please explain how it would be horrible. He'd still kill people and break the 4th wall,he just wouldn't be able to use the f word. It would unnecessarily restrict the character. Yeah he'd be able to kill people still but nothing like what he actually did in the movie where he shot people through the head, cut people in half, stabbed people through, made a name out of dead bodies including a decapitated head. There was blood everywhere and that would never happen in a PG-13 movie. A lot of the jokes, sex jokes, masterbating jokes, dick jokes and other crude language wouldn't be allowed in a PG-13 movie which restricts the humour as well. Deadpool going into a strip club where we saw fully nude women. They couldn't allow that. It'd be terrible. A completely watered down version of Deadpool for no reason when the R rated violent and crude version was a huge hit that was really well liked. Agree. If you take that all away from Deadpool, he will be only a lame and boring 08/15 superhero. And nobody accepts a PG-13 Deadpool.

I would’ve agreed with you if you weren’t supporting Millennium Films...

So basically Fox waited until their shares went up then canceled talks? Smart move by Fox. They probably never intended to sell to Disney but they used Disney to make their stock value go up. But it'd go back down when people realize that. Hell, it probably would go even further in the crapper.

Anything works as long as you have the right people on it. X-men Origins clearly didn't have the right people because, not only did Deadpool not work, but the entire movie didn't work.

A Deadpool with PG-13 can never work. Like Conan said, it will only watered down him. The character is about swearing, Black comedy and killing people. It would only work as a tv-show. But they have to say bye bye to Reynolds then.

The character is about swearing, Black comedy and killing people. So is Wolverine...and the PG ratings never hurt him.

Thankfully the talks fell apart. This would have been a disaster. Do people honestly think Disney would have made films like Deadpool and Logan like Fox did?

Logan was a one-shot thing because it was Jackman's Swan Song, and if all you have to bring up is Deadpool and not any of the other X-Movies...then the FoX-Men are in pretty poor shape. And for the record, FOX didn't make Deadpool. They threw money at Ryan Reynolds to make him stop bugging him and HE more or less made Deadpool without studio interferece.

Yep, Deadpool was pretty much an independent movie. Fox would have never made Logan if Reynolds and Miller didn't go rogue.

But they have to say bye bye to Reynolds then. Um, if Deadpool ever had an R-rated comic it was a one off or out of context limited series. The only watering down of Deadpool would be from what he is in the 1st movie to whatever.

Can a mod close this thread now, the talks are DEAD and theres too much delusion being spouted in here and the other thread They're only dead because Fox's shares went up a little, so it's more "halted" than anything else. As soon as the shared go down again, they'll be back at the table.
