Basically, as long as you aren't a nonce or a serial killer I reckon you've got a good shot of passing the "fit and proper ownership" test.
If you are wanted for embezzlement, fraud, tax evasion in other countries, then don't worry, you can come over here and buy one of our football clubs and where your assets will be nice and safe from those pesky foreigners.

I've no ties to Blackpool at all and am, frankly, indifferent to their success or failure as a club. But the Oystons' behaviour is fucking criminal and even to someone as disinterested as myself its sickening to behold.
I hope this recent blow to them emboldens the fan groups to redouble their effort and get them the fuck out.

Yes, it's great news for the fans hopefully. I just hope the Oystons don't manage to burn the place down on the way out. They have been pretty spiteful towards the fans in the past. Great club and hopefully 2018 will be a new start for them. I've read rumours that the club is being valued at about 60million by the Oystons which is ludicrous, sheer greed as usual. they'll never sell at that price. |
