Eh...remember that BvS got a standing ovation...I wouldn't put stock in stuff like this. Remember that the standing ovation was months before the BvS release? Remember in a 2 week time frame before BvS, that’s when the reviews were mixed to negative? Comparing to this JL time frame within 2 weeks, there has been more positive reviews. I literally just wrote facts and you know it. Stop hating.

Not stirring here, genuinely interested to read some. All I've seen are reports on reactions at a screening, and some twitter reactions to half an hour shown in China (strangely, a country that has banned Twitter!)

I'm hoping that this time around, SOMEBODY realizes that Superman is not, and never has been--and I've read reprints of the original Action comics--the Batman sans mask and dressed in primary colors. (Among other reasons: the guy in the red cape preceded the guy in the black cowl, folks!) IMNSHO, Supes should not be pitched as dark (no pun intended) as Bats. As my son observed, the trouble with WB is that they think because Batman worked a certain way, that Superman will work that way too. In other words: the gruff demeanor, the humorless personality, the angst-ridden mystique (I know, I should stop bringing in Marvel ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ) did fine for Batman, so of course it will work for Superman. Well, it doesn't seem to be turning out that way, now does it?

There weren't many zombie movies out on the market when Dawn '04 came out, the market was not as saturated then as it is now thanks to shows like The Walking Dead. Being a pale imitation of Romero's work is neither here nor there - not my argument, just saying it was a crowd pleasing film. 2004 was a good Zombie Year....Dawn Of The Dead and Shaun of The Dead. Walking Dead comic, which was first published at the end 2003 really grew in popularity, particularly after the first trade. 2004 was the year that kicked off the 21st Century zombie boom You're right, there was also a Resident Evil movie that year too.

Sounds like dceu has another awesome entry ready. It will likely not be as historic, critical and artistic a milestone as Wonder Woman was (what could be), or win the dceu more academy awards but it should be great fun to see these iconic characters unite. The clips look promising, the music 🎶 sounds great and the too many cooks rule will likely be falsified to yield awesome cinematography and witty banter and writing. Probably the most interesting cinematic experience since long.

Superman shouldn't scare kids. dont worry, that is nothing, brats are in dire need of some respect. What's really concerning though is overhearing mothers crying bc their kids must visit a shrink for maniacally engaging in huge turd and sensitive nipples contests since being traumatized by guardians. I heard kids lament that dance offs have been ruined forever by mcu and being ashamed bc iron man and cap clobber bc of mommy issues.

Nah, what they learned from GOTG2 was the true nature of beauty and love. A much more important lesson than "Love will save the world".

Maybe they learned about the beauty of having sensitive nipples and the love for famously huge mcu turds? Not to think what that penis making dialogue did to the poor innocent souls...

their shrinks think otherwise.[/quote] The parents got ripped off, that's what you get at shrinks sponsored by WB. It made them think "Oh, THAT'S how the avatar of a living planet could have a kid with a lady!"

Well, it doesn't seem to be turning out that way, now does it? I like how the DCEU make Superman someone who helps people despite the world around him saying he does not have to do it or is against it. It’s better than them misguidedly trying to copy the Marvel style with Green Lanter, which transltated to better box office and response from both critics and audiences.
