I wouldn't call the first meh, it just leaned a little too heavily on homages for me. As for s2, it was less reliant on nostalgia, but ironically I didn't like it as much. It didn't really have the focus of s1 and the characters were too separated, which made it a little slow to get through. |

I love Max but Bob is awesome (voted for Bob). The whole season was fantastic. I just finished it on Sunday and I am even more obsessed with it now than I was after the first season.
The characters are one of the best parts of the show.

Bob, you can't go wrong with Sean Astin and his character is so likeable. I also liked Billy, Max & Dr. Owens.
