Probably slim. Unless they replace Hemsworth, or make Jane Thor.
What say You?

I'd say the odds are better than 50/50 right now they'll do a Thor 4.

After the success of Thor Ragnarok, I'm pretty sure they'll do a Thor 4. Stark will get killed off, maybe Cap, but Thor will be maintained.

But Hemsworth has expressed his desire to leave. He said he's tired of the physical training. Of course 💸💸💸💸💸 might change his mind.

Of course they will. Even if Hemsworth is 60 they’ll do it. He just won’t take his shirt off.
I know he will be in other Marvel films but a big box office AND high critical praise for Thor 3 means a sequel is a certainty.

Most of us regular people could only dream of a high-paying stable job. The biggest problem in being an actor is that jobs may be high paying but they're not stable. Well, being part of the MCU near guarantees you a stable job AND a high paying one. If I was Hemsworth, I'd continue doing Thor till the studio gets tired of me.

It's like Daniel Craig complaining about Bond. You get to play James Freakin Bond! And make MILLIONS doing it! The hell are you complaining about??

After all, all of these guys, like Craig were excited as hell when they took the job. Whether it's hard work or him just being a ungrateful douche about it now IDK.

After the success of Thor Ragnarok, I'm pretty sure they'll do a Thor 4. Stark will get killed off, maybe Cap, but Thor will be maintained. I kind of hope that this is the case. Before Spider-Man joined the MCU Thor had been my favorite of the Avengers so I really don't want to see him killed of. I also have zero interest in them doing the Jane Foster as Thor angle. Cap I think is one of the more logical choices to be killed off with either Bucky or Falcon taking up that mantle, I'd bet on it being Bucky. Tony I also think should bite it. While I loved RDJ and Tony Stark being around we're not going to get an Iron Man 4 I don't think so what more is there for him to do in this universe than be Peter Parker's mentor? Now after this Thor film I personally know I want more so I know I'll be extremely bummed if they killed off Thor. Characters I'm okay with being killed off by Thanos: Tony Cap Rodey Hawkeye Widow Hulk Vision Wanda Fury

Something else I thought about, Hemsworth might be more open to a 4th film since he hasn't had much luck outside the Marvel franchise for some odd reason. His last bona fide hit was Snow White & the Huntsman and while Rush did earn acclaim, I don't think it fared well box office wise. The less said about In the Heart of the Sea, Blackhat, The Huntsman, and Ghostbusters, the better. Rotten luck.

The less said about In the Heart of the Sea, Blackhat, The Huntsman, and Ghostbusters, the better. Rotten luck. I won't watch that Ghostbusters film but most people seem to have the opinion that he was pretty good in it. The only movie of his I saw outside of the MCU is I believe Blackhat. I stopped watching it after like 20 minutes. Think I tried watching it on HBO and switched it after that. So it's possible that he would want to continue but actors are weird. They don't want to get type cast or they like to go out and do other things to possibly be taken more serious for Oscar awards or to move behind the camera like Chris Evans is turning towards. I think it's different for guys like RDJ compared to Hemsworth. RDJ has had those other experiences as he's been in Hollywood for a long time and I think he's more willing to stick around as long as he has because he owes the MCU for casting him and bringing him back to A-List stature in Hollywood. Hemsworth is still relatively young so it wouldn't surprise me if he wanted to move on and try new things. Hope he stays on though, love him.

never been a 4th solo movie That's true. Although weren't there four Superman movies with Reeves? Anyway, it's still true of the "modern" comic movie era. It it would be odd if Thor of all characters was the one that break that trend.
