Changing society so that men and women have much different attitudes that this current puritanical stream, much different attitudes about propositions and nudity and touching from men and women, towards men and women, much different attitudes about casual sex and polyamory versus monogamy, etc. is for the better, because sex, sexual behavior, etc. is a good thing. Being puritanical towards it, or extremely restrictive and rule-oriented towards it, is not a good thing. This is bonkers. Nobody is being puritanical. You're idea that men should be able to cop a feel of any woman he likes without consent is fucking nuts. It's assault, end of. I think it's bonkers that merely touching someone can be considered assault. Setting your foot down about it isn't something that I consider a reasonable argument. Also, there's no reason to make anything gender-specific.

I suppose my next question should be "so what exactly is your criteria?", but then if I did ask that I fear the next words you type will overshadow all your previous insanity by some distance, then I'd have to type a long response explaining why your ideas are either unworkable, open to abuse & open to manipulative relationships, so maybe I should just save myself a lot of time & just say "obey the law, coz it aint changing any time soon, and they'll make mincemeat out of you in prison". I can copy and paste my criteria if you like, but it's long. Hopefully if you were to offer any objections they'd show that you actually read and understood everything I wrote (normally, objections do not evidence that), and then I'd explain why your objections don't hold water--I'd give objections/challenges to your objections and so on. Another time maybe as I'm heading out in a minute. No I don't, you're right, I don't want to make any assumptions but I hope you're not one of these people who is trying to justify to themselves why it might be morally okay to break these very serious laws, because I can already tell you that you're not going to change many minds, especially parents, who make up a large segment of the population, and they would make your life a living hell in prison. Even I wouldn't fancy it in our softy British prisons and I'm nails, so god knows how a civilian copes in those American prisons with 12 Mike Tyson look-a-likes sharing a cell who all want to either throw acid in your face or at best make you their girlfriend.

That I agree with. As I wrote earlier today in another post on a different thread: "Most of the time, I'd prefer to pay very little attention to politics, because it just annoys me--the stuff that people care about, the standard views on that stuff, etc. I tend to not agree with any mainstream group on any side. As a relative lone loon, I can't do anything about it--views go in big social waves, so it's difficult for a single individual who is a significant outlier to have any impact. I'd need to finely craft a far more manipulative tactic to try to influence anything, but that's too much work for possibly zero reward. So I'd rather not bother with it and not be annoyed/frustrated."

Nah, just checking around the games on Twitter and Flashscores... Not long back from a Shire game (we beat Saltford 4-1). It was a real wet muddy affair, and I am still frozen. A vindaloo is called for for tea tonight.
