Lots of good games today and more than a few rivialries. I'll have my eye on at least 7 games. Here we go. Michigan St @ Ohio St - The Buckeyes rebound from last week's stomping and win this one. Oklahoma St @ Iowa St. - Can the Cyclone offense score enough points to win this one? I don't think so. Georgia @ Auburn - The first stiff test for the Bulldogs. Want a Georgia win but Auburn pulls off the upset. Alabama @ Mississippi St - The Crimson Tide will blow them out. TCU @ Oklahoma - The Sooners win and say "Hey, look at us playoff committee." Notre Dame @ Miami - I have one thing to say about the Hurricanes. Overrated. Iowa @ Wisconsin - The Hawks are tired of all the ISU talk and regain the state headlines with their 2nd win over a top ten team in as many weeks. (I have to beleive, right?) Let the pageantry commence.

I also have noticed the empty seats at Miami games. It seems many fair weather fans haven't yet returned. I'm with you, GO HURRICANES I hate you slightly less than Notre Dame.

Why is A Rod on the ESPN pregame show? What the hell does he know about football? Miami. Him and J'Lo were all over ESPN last week in the booth in Miami. It was nauseating. So they're a 'big deal' again - now all the bandwagon jumpers come out of the woodwork. I can't stand Miami either - but I despise Notre Dame more......

How in the hell does Michigan State bust a nut to get themselves in position for the Big 10 Title game only to bend over and spread their cheeks for OSU? How in the hell do the Suckeyes look like North Dakota School for the Blind last week and look like the New England Patriots the next?

What's up with the Big Ten when any of the top 7 or so teams can stomp on the other no matter records or rankings? And what's up with Barkley? Five carries for -3 first half yards?

I don't know of anyone who is "overrating" the Big 10 anymore. It will take a miracle to get undefeated Wisconsin into the playoff. If the conference was overrated, Wisconsin would be #3. I'm in no way saying Wisconsin should be in the playoff (as of now), but its funny that Wisconsin is pilloried for their cupcake non-conference slate and Alabama isn't. Yeah, kudos for scheduling FSU and it's not their fault that the Seminoles suck. But the Seminoles DO suck. And, as bad as UW's schedule is, there's no team like fucking Mercer on it.

Wisconsin could still go, with upsets. Another Clemson loss, another ND loss. No way a two loss team goes in over an undefeated Power 5. And Butch Jones gets fired the day after Tennessee's season ends, no sooner. Why bother? Ask Florida. Not sure Gruden would want the job. The SEC seems to be on the downswing and its tough to recruit against Alabama and Georgia. It could take years to build up a school to the top tier and you can fall of the map in a heartbeat. Ask the fans of Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

The NFL hype has died down for quite some time.... It's the perfect time.....

He hasn't held a playbook since 2008. I guess he's a "name". Why not Tee Martin? He ran the offense for the Vols National Championship team. He's been a great OC for USC. And he's 15 years younger than Gruden. Martin will get a HC job next season. He's too hot of a commodity, even with USC's subpar year. No better fit than Tennessee.

Miami's stadium is pretty far away from the campus. You never have good homefield advantages in those situations. Nebraska is getting blown out by Minnesota. I wonder if some there are reconsidering the move to the Big 10.
