oh, oh, only 73% on RT so far. That's bad for a TV show, most of the high profile ones are in the high 90%. Does not look good. www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/marvel_s_the_punisher/s01I dunno, I might still watch this as it's supposed to be testosterone filled and R-rated badass. But I agree on the general consensus that these MCU shows take too long to get going, and respectively, are stretched over too many episodes having too little story content. Also, there seems a creativity and idea issue (lack-of sort). |

The reviews aren't that bad. Daredevil S2 got worse ratings and I LOVED that season.

I don't care. This jerk just comes onto these boards after being absent from them for most of the year and thinks he knows who what's gone down here. For most of the year, the DC trolls had the run of the place, but he conveniently only shows up after the tables turned and thinks the MCU fans are the bad guys here? And now this worm is trying talking trash to us every chance he gets, and he's not trying to calm things down. He just wants to start more trouble. Well you should care because you don't like when these comments are said in reverse and I'm not playing favourites here. Board history doesn't matter, there's no good guys and there's no bad guys. There's just people who are all interested in the same thing, superhero movies. There's only trouble if someone gives in to it. Then tell lenlenlen to stop his one-man war on MCU fans. |

So MCU TV is now a victim of more formulaic marvel cooperate decision? this was the opposite of why Legion is a close masterpiece and worked so well.
I swear the cinematic thing is getting more exposed as nothing more of a sham for film and tv artistry.

It sounds like everything is good other than a middle that drags due to its neo-noir feel and overexposure to "gun violence".

That's been a common problem with all the Marvel Netflix shows (except maybe Defenders because it was half as long) in that they drag at some point. None of them have really warranted being 13 episodes long but they don't have much of a choice to be. |

Meh, I couldn't give two craps about what reviews say about anything I plan on watching same goes for a stupid meaningless Rotten Tomato score. The Punisher looks awesome and I'll binge watch it at some point this weekend. I have little doubt I'll enjoy it because Bernthal's Punisher was single handedly what carried me through Daredevil Season 2. So I'm just getting more of that? I see nothing not to love from my end. If it somehow doesn't live up to my hype then so be it but I have little reason to think I won't enjoy it.
