i like it. new blood. better than rehashing the same ole crap - i.e. the Dusty Bakers, Bobby Valentines of the world. give the kid a shot. former player. yanks surprised everybody this year. younger coach - maybe he'll click with the younger players and they'll respect him more since he's been there. |

When I first got the news last night, I was a little shocked because I didn't actually expect him to be picked as next manager, but I have to say I believe Yankees made the right choice and hope he brings success to this team. I believe Aaron Boone will be an excellent manager for the team and could possibly be the next Joe Torre.
