It's funny, I will watch some podcasts which just make the assumption that Valkarie is the new love interest for Thor, but when I was watching the film, I thought they were setting her up for Banner/Hulk. It made me wonder if people are just assuming she's interested in Thor because it was a Thor movie and she's Asgardian, but my thoughts were that she's much more of a stand in for Caiera who becomes Hulk's wife in the comics, and Sif is always around for Thor if they end up bringing her back which would completely make sense. What were your impressions?

I just thought found it interesting after watching some videos whether the reviews proceed as though it's obvious her and Thor are a thing, and then other where they proceed as though it's obvious her and Banner are a thing. And neither discuss that it might be the other way around or neither.

Banner still has Black Widow doesn't he? He does, but I heard this really cool love triangle hypothesis where Banner might want Widow but Hulk would want Valkarie, which is actually a pretty cool dynamic.

I'd prefer it if they stop adding more and more romance, but that love triangle ArArArchStanton mentioned would be pretty funny and/or interesting. |

I think Valkyrie was a kind of stand in for Sif. Except she isn't interested in Thor like Sif is. I think it was more of a mutual admiration. The Valkyrie and Hulk came off like an older sister and her baby brother.
