I was thinking about the possibility that the shards of Mjolnir are probably just sitting in that field still. Now I know that the Asgardians are about to confront Thanos, but I sort of doubt they were all saved just so they could all be killed 5 minutes later, so I do think a new Asgard will be made in that field and is there any shot the pieces are reforged? I want to say no, but then I think the possibility is still there.

I'm hoping Dr Strange can remake it.

I'm hoping Dr Strange can remake it. Definitely. I was kind of hoping we'd see Cap actually lift it. If it doesn't happen it's cool, but that would be quite the epic scene.

I hate all that other people lifting it. I hate Jane Foster being Thor. Taking someone else's identity is a crime. Hers wasn't good enough? All the men who did it stayed themselves nut the woman has to change because she's inadequate? She has to steal his name?

I kind of like 1 or 2 others lifting it. Odin is obvious ok and so is Cap. Beta Ray is cool. I like that it's an extremely small list.

Well, it wouldn't matter because the Hammer actually made him weaker.

Why would they undo his character arc from Ragnorak?

If Mjolnir makes a reappearance at all, it'd be cool to see someone like Captain America wield as a callback to Age of Ultron.

Why would they undo his character arc from Ragnorak? Well I don't think reforging the hammer would necessarily undo any character arc. He could still have just the same skill set and character progression.
That being said, I don't really think he'll get it back.

It's like a huge list. Yeah it probably shouldn't be too big. The whole point is that it displays the internal infallible quality of the new character who can lift it. It's cool that Vision lifted it in the MCU. I'd go crazy if Cap ever did, but that doesn't seem likely now. Odin obviously. That should really be it. If this continue another 15 years an Beta Ray came in, maybe him, but that would be the max I'd say.

Notice it says Thor can allow other people to use Mjolnir & that was when Steve managed to do it. Steve didn't do it on his own. Come on. The only person worthy to be the Thunderer is the Thunderer.

Isn't there Infinity War art that has him with another different looking hammer?

Well, it wouldn't matter because the Hammer actually made him weaker. Would getting it back make him weaker though? It doesn't have to, does it? No they could have Thor reforge his hammer by using his new powers and simply use the hammer because he likes to use it, the power would still be his the hammer wouldn't be magical anymore, so if they wanted others could wield it but for them it would just be a hammer but in Thor's hands it becomes a weapon of the gods, there by keeping the strength with Thor but not losing a specific element of his fighting style, as it is Thor's use of the hammer has always been a fun aspect of the character for me.
It would also be funny to see Thor like Odin enchant the hammer so others couldn't use it and allow him to do things like set it down on someone so they are unable to move like he did to Loki in the first film, getting the hammer back doesn't weaken Thor imo, if anything how he gets it back can simply help showcase the reaches of his new abilities.
