BvS had awful reviews and still made 160(?) mill opening weekend? This one may not make that, but if it makes Thor Ragnarok money that'll be okay. It won't be ok, because that means they'll just keep making more crap, because fans can't help themselves and keep supporting.
They know you can't stop yourself from showing up and they're happy to take your money but put no effort into the product. Why is this acceptable?
But unless you're a brainwashed Marvelite how is that a bad thing? A) If they make more movies they get more chances to get it right. Snyder is almost certainly out now so the other movies will be directed by others. B) WB is fine making the money. Even if they don't hit a billion mark the movies are still profitable. C) And if the fans are ok with it, then who cares?
If you consider it crap then don't go. Me? I'm going.

I'm sorry, the DCU is a trainwreck, I don't know what you want me to tell you.
And you're correct, they are perfectly happy being profitable by giving you a trainwreck they know you'll watch anyway. That's how much they care. Enjoy it.

And that's why they keep making 40% films. Nice theory. On the other hand you still keep belaboring the MCU 100% of the time even though not all of those movies have been 100% good.
So here's 40% thanks!

Actually they've all been good. It's a great time to be a Marvel fan. There's so much good stuff. I mean freaking Punisher is out this week, we just had Ragnarok, Spidery was awesome, Guardians 2 was super good, Panther looks awesome in February, and then fucking Infinity War.
It's just so amusing by contrast how DC has produced 4 out of 5 duds. I mean WTF are they doing?

The MCU has all been good, hence why it has such a strong reputation, and DC's have all been bad, hence why it has such a poor reputation.
You're out of touch.

Except Deadpool AND Logan were better than every mcu movie I've seen with the possible exception of the first GOTG which I would rate about equal to them. Also it's ridiculous of you to say that generic garbage Spidey's Homecoming Dance was a great Spiderman film. It wasn't....at all....in any conceivable way. The new Spideys exuberance was cool for the minimal bit of time we saw him in Civil War and maybe the first 15 minutes of Homecoming Dance. Then it became a bit annoying and he was probably the best thing about the movie. It was really really weak. They even managed to ruin a good performance by Keaton. The fact you either pretend it was not shit or actually believe it was better than the incredibly superior first 2 Raimi movies show you are either wearing blinders or you just trot out the same tired "Duh me like marvel but duh only mcu burp" no matter what. The bad thing about you is whenever I consider giving you the benefit of the doubt you do an obvious bait thread or make a post like the one I'm replying to that convinces me I was always right about you. I disagree Of course you do because you are a troll. Thank you for proving my point. I thought you wanted to have a discussion but your little 2 word response after I made several salient points prove you are exactly what I've always said you are. A mean spirited petty little troll.

Because Deadpool and Logan weren't better than every MCU movie. They're good for sure, and better than some, I'll listen to that, but they're better than all of them? That's silly, and doesn't deserve any response.

Those all started out just ok and only got worse. The DCEU has overall been on an uphill progression...this last Snyder flick is a downtick from WW, but by all accounts, while still underwhelming at best, it's better than any of the others. Is this unquestionably looking at it as the glass half full? 100%. But I prefer to have hope.

It’s got no use on the inside. You’d better get used to that idea." Sometimes it's just better to cut your loses. I think they are just trying to get some of their money back with Justice League. I think things will most likely change after Justice League because of Wonder Woman (because it was already being made before Wonder Woman came out). I think their thought process on being a director driven studio when it comes to the DC movies will change. I think they only said that because people were looking at Marvel as a studio ran franchise when they actually having a person leading it someone with the directors making the movies. I think Justice League will only be better than the others in that it has Justice League characters interacting all through the movie. It's the same as BvS being better than MoS because Batman and Wonder Woman are talking to Superman in a live action setting.
