Not great, but not as bad as it could have been.
Sadly, the only female in the show is a real bitch.

I thought it was okay, but the two experiments didn't seem to be performed with anywhere near the ingenuity or precision that Adam and Jamie would have employed. They seemed a bit sloppy and anticlimactic.
They also don't have the chemistry yet that Adam and Jamie had. On the other hand, maybe the fact that the new guys seem to have personalities that mesh more than Adam and Jamie's did might develop into something worthwhile. It will be different than Adam and Jamie's bickering, but they need to shoot for something different anyway.
I have some confidence that the show will get better if it manages to stick around. The original show improved as it went along, too.
When they were doing the selection show, I was kind of bummed out that they didn't decide to simply go with a bigger team this time around. They could have even gone with the whole lot of them. I think that would have made for a more interesting show. Of course, the network is trying to avoid the costs that would incur, but they had five regulars they were paying for many years on the old show, and they wouldn't have to pay any of the new folks anywhere near what Adam and Jamie must have been making towards the end.
