I found it quite enjoyable. It's loaded with technical issues, but I still had fun. It's basically an undercooked version of what a lighthearted JL movie should be. Basic story. Subpar CGI. Weak villain. But the heroes were fantastic. The team dynamics were awesome. And the epic moments really hit home.
As of right now:
Logan Thor: Ragnarok Wonder Woman Justice League Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Spider-Man: Homecoming

good, good, how does it relate to BvS, eg more fun less brooding?

As of right now: Logan Thor: Ragnarok Wonder Woman Justice League Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Spider-Man: Homecoming This is exactly what I want from a superhero ensemble. It doesn't have to be deep, save the pathos for their individual flicks. You watch this kind of movie to see icons interact with each other and kick some ass. I feel like DC flicks are judged on a completely different scale than Marvel, and that's a shame. I haven't seen it yet, and maybe I won't like it as much as I enjoyed Ragnarok or Guardians. But I find it hard to believe Guardians and Ragnarok are rated so highly and JL so poorly without some kind of bias involved. WB/DC went out of their way to lighten the mood with JL, I don't believe for a second it's as terrible as the online metrics suggest.

good, good, how does it relate to BvS, eg more fun less brooding? BvS was more interesting and ambitious. JL was more fun and entertaining. Just watched it today. The movie has some great moments , it should have been a 2.5 hrs movie - the climax is only 15 mins long. My real complain is that we saw some great scenes in trailers which are not present in theatrical version. The real issue is WB overreacting to backlash of MOS and then of BVS. As a result the movie lacks the ambition and grand canvas of other DCEU movies. Also Steppenwolf came out as weak villain bcoz of CGI issues , mainly due to his drastically reduced screen time -the dialogue we heard in SDCC 2017 trailer is not in the movie now. Else he was more than a match of the whole league alone. WB need to realize that real problem is planning of the movies and botched editing. Casting is good , JL as team is excellent all-around. If done right , the depth of characters and stories they have from this intellectual property is strong enough to outlast any similar competition. Lets just hope that they don't overreact to JL reception

Was it at least better than Age of Bot-Tron? All of the negative reviews I've read so far sound like this is Bot-Tron 2.0.

But its certainly much better then the negative reviews , the fact is issues like bad cgi and botched editing are being highlighted much more than lot of other positives of the movie.

Saw it again. Liked it even more the second time. The stuff the kinda bothered me the first time didn't really bother me as much. Fun flick.
