So what is everyone's opinion on The Punisher?

I'll give my vote after I've seen all 13 episodes, but so far I'm loving the hell out of it! Finished episode 6 a little while ago, 7 more episodes to go!

So far I like it more than Luke Cage and Ironfist. Not as good as DD or Jessica Jones.

It's a pretty good series but definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

Loving it so far, this is definitely some of the edgiest content seen from the MCU to date.

I gave it a 6.5/10 so I voted third option. I think I was a victim of my own hype-ness of it all that I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. As with all the Netflix Marvel shows I think it had too many episodes. 10 I think would of been perfect. The cast was amazing and there were some real moments in there that got me either choked up or just with my mouth open. The Lewis story arch was tough to watch that shit seemed so real. Loved what they did with Billy Russo and how he basically hated being called the pretty boy and how at the end his transition into what will be Jigsaw was fantastic in my mind. Micro was amazing and you really had to connect with how he was watching his family fall apart because of his choices and he can't help them. When the son hit his sister I was like "oh fuck!" and I wanted to hate that kid but then his scene with Frank and the knife you really understand what it is this kid is going through. I connected with so many of the characters. The pilot was probably my favorite episode. Loved how he saved the kid who shared his sandwich despite knowing that he committed a crime but it showed Frank had a humane side as he didn't let him die for being a criminal too instead he knows that he's a good kid who just made a mistake.

One or well a couple things I really didn't like is Frank and Micro's wife kissing. Frank shouldn't of let that happen. Also, stop with this will they won't they thing with Frank and Karen. No, just no. I don't want or think that Frank should be romantically involved with anyone as I feel like it takes away from his revenge story if he just moves on to another woman who they'd likely just use to kill off to repeat the cycle.
