If we were dividing them into subgroups, I'd go with singers, as they can't shut the hell up to save themselves, but of those listed above, I go with artists. There's just something about art majors that I'll never get.

Are you trying to say clique or cliche? clique but not in a teeny bopper high school lipgloss sort of clique. a cliché is like rain at a funeral. entirely too predictable and lacking any imagination.

Are you trying to say clique or cliche? Lol Yeah, that would be "clique." I couldn't remember how to spell it, and my phone was about 1% away from dying, so I couldn't look it up. I'll correct it. Thanks.

Do poets gather in groups? At universities and writers' conferences they do. ...And no less than artists do.

Not only that, but most of them don't actually have any REAL credibility on politics in the first place. If a person actually is well educated on political topics, and non partisan, then I have no problem letting them run their mouths.

Elitist/snobby fans. Cinephiles and classical music snobs seem to be the worst. But it's not limited to them. There are elitist/snobby fans for all sorts of arts and genres.

Just look at how some TV shows, like Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead et al spawn these rabid little cliques of fans who savage anybody who isn't totally hip to their particular knowledge, insight and adulation of said shows!
Which also begs a comparison to many a sports fan of various sports, or teams thereof. It's like, if you don't know everything there is to know about, say, baseball, or a certain team that plays the game, then don't even dare discussing it with certain fans of that sport/team unless you want to be publicly humiliated. I've seen that on various sports boards. Distressing, to say the least.

Musicians. No wannabe Brad Pitt or wannabe Picasso is ever more annoying than a wannabe John Lennon or David Bowie.

There was a scene where Mark Wahlberg's character actually thought he could sing, really fancied himself an aspiring singer. His singing was atrocious! lol
