I'm a poet and I agree with this. I'm not sure if any form invites more people with so little talent so much pretension. I find most of them insufferable. |

Elitist/snobby fans. Cinephiles and classical music snobs seem to be the worst. But it's not limited to them. There are elitist/snobby fans for all sorts of arts and genres. I strongly disagree with this. IME, both tend to have surprisingly few snobs in general, and the few I've encountered didn't seem any worse than in other mediums/genres. Hell, I'd say metalheads tend to be bigger snobs than classical fans. Of course, most of my experience with all of them are from online communities. |
