My other complaint is flat out about Snyder. When he made MOS, I liked it..I really did. But in looking back at it, the Superman he created was just sad...or so it seemed. And in JL it is mentioned that Superman was a beacon of hope...where did that come from? When was he that? The sad thing is...Superman SHOULD be that...but Snyder has never shown him as such. Superman was conflicted in MoS but he went through his arc ending the film with a smile, showing he found himself - oh and he saved Earth from the Zod invasion.
In BvS he was an arrived star and beacon of hope - as was amply shown by Snyder's slow-motion savior-like scenes with Supes saving the day, or bathing in the masses like a star (it was not subtle, so pretty hard to miss). Also he sacrificied himself at the end, which might explain beacon of hope mystifications.

Like northernlad said, he wasn't evil. He was just confused and didn't know whom to trust. Then Cyborg appeared to attack him so he counter-attacked. So Diana and Arthur tried to restrain him and he fought them off. Why didn't he recognise WW? She was there with Doomsday. Sometimes when people wake up from a coma, their memories don't come back all at once. Their memories come back in fragments and it can take some time until they regain all of their memories. Superman was just resurrected from the dead so he hadn't regained all of his memories yet. He only remembered fragments, such as Batman saying "Tell me, do you bleed?".
But he hadn't regained his memories of fighting side-by-side with Batman and Wonder Woman against Doomsday. That's why he seemed confused when he saw the monument and statue had been damaged. He didn't remember the battle with Doomsday and didn't remember that the monument and statue had been damaged during the battle.

What a god awful mess. I don't even know where to begin. For starters, it felt like two or three different movie ( poorly ) stitched together. I don't why there is any confusion over what Joss added, it was very obvious which scenes were shot by him. Even if you couldn't tell, there were blatant visual cues ( cgi Super-lip and red lipstick WW ) The movie basically jumps from scenes shot in natural lighting ( Snyder ) to scenes shot on sets ( Joss ) to scenes that are almost completely cgi ( IBM ) This feels like nitpicking anyway, because the movie simply doesn't work, no matter who shot what. There were four ten year old boys sitting by me, and they seemed to be bored out of their minds. Which made it extra weird when one of them said, at the end, "That was good!" There were a few bright spots: "I'm rich." Diana's leather pants! The Lois and Clark scenes really got to me. Lot's of bad: The incoherent "plot" which jumped from now to thousands of ( cgi ) years earlier. Why not just open the film with Diana's "thousands of years ago" mother box montage? The cgi scenes ( thousands of parademons, battling cartoon armies, on cardboard islands ) Let's raise Superman... But what if he is evil and unstoppable? Oh well! The actual "resurrection battle scene" was kind of cool. Whedon's mid credit scene was fun. Zack's end credit scene was probably the best part of the entire film. Very cool! I am probably done with DCEU now. I gave them a shot, and you know the whole three strikes thing. At this point, I am left wishing they would just go ahead and sell the rights to Marvel. They could have thrown a wad of cash at Feige, and let him ( try to ) assemble a watchable cut from what footage they had. Oh well. I'm not sure what else to write. Feel free to ask questions. Dude, I thought you were exaggerating but, it really was that bad. I've seen episodes of the Super Friends cartoon that was better.

And yes you are a hypocrite No I requested to be banned actually and had to multiple times before he finally grew the sack to do it. And you're mistaking anger with telling our pussy mod to go fuck himself.
I am actually extremely satisfied with watching the success of Thor, the brilliance of the Infinity War trailer, and yes, the utter shitfest that Justice League became.

Careful, Mr. Stanton. This is the exact same attitude that turned the DCEU into a wasteland of shameless boasts and unfulfilled dreams.

Ok, you didn't like it. Fine. I get that. Here's what I don't get:
The incoherent "plot" which jumped from now to thousands of ( cgi ) years earlier.
What was so incoherent about it? Did you write that as just hyperbole, or did you really honest to god not understand the story? Because I find that hard to believe. I watched it and was never lost. It jumped around, sure, but no more so than other movies of this genre.

I felt it was unnecessarily confusing in a structural sense to jump that far back, at that point in the film. They should have just shown all of the flashback material at the very beginning of the movie. Let's face it, it wouldn't have mattered anyway, the film still sucks.

So you would have made different choices. So would I. But I've thought that I would make different choices even to movies that I thought were masterpieces. Its clear that Snyders vision of the DCEU is not for everyone.
As for the movie sucking, we'll just have to disagree. I enjoyed this movie as much as I enjoyed Thor Ragnarok (maybe even a little more so because of the inclusion of Wonder Woman and the return of Superman).
