You don't HAVE to have nudity or sex, but it can sure make it a better experience. Imagine The Crying Game without nudity. Or Brokeback Mountain without sex.

I have no problem with nudity or sex scenes in a movie. But is there actually any need to have nudity and sex scene in movies ? Is there really any need to have color in movies? Is there really any need to have music in movies? Is there really any need to have sound in movies? Do we really need movies? What's wrong with reading a book? Or just telling stories beside the fire? Yes Yes Yes Yes

I imagine, like already mentioned, technically you don't HAVE to have that in movies but, to state the obvious, guys are naturally going to like seeing nude females(well, at least ones up to a certain standard ).

It occurred to me that we could continue asking each other rhetorical questions for another several dozen pages of posts, but what would that accomplish in the end, really (there's one right there!)? Instead, let me note that your displeasure has been duly noted and a petition has been filed on your behalf with the Bureau of Lost Causes. No need to thank me, it was my pleasure! www.yelp.com/biz_photos/cajuns-seafood-sheffield-2?select=wGVjwx_inIMBN-rh8Edssw

It depends on what type of a movie it is. Sometimes nudity is not needed and is just used to attract viewers and cover up a bad script but in other movies like deembastille mentioned it is appropriate and I think a porn movie without nudity would be pointless.

It's worth pointing out, for the younguns here, that although pr0n is widely available nowadays, before the internet, which means for most of movies' history, it was much harder to see in many areas. So use of nudity in films registered differently with audiences than it does today.

The vast majority of the time the real reason for including such material is to give teenagers and others a hard on so they can come spend money on the movie.
There is a hell of a lot of attempted justification from the "sexually liberated" about how its "vital for the story" but a great deal of it is blatant BS.
So most of the times it is a sad and pathetic attempt at pulling in the crowd. There are rare great movies in which it is justified - Eyes Wide Shut for example, but today especially its mostly used as a gimmick to keep the viewer watching through otherwise boring plotpoints. Game of Thrones, but really the vast majority of "critically acclaimed" nonsense these days.

There also is no fantastically strong reason for you not to walk down with your pants down shitting on the streets, except you know...that old ancient stuff about dignity and integrity.
