Frankly, I don't see how anyone could consider TDKR better than CW. CW had better plot, better action, better acting, better pacing, and was way harder to pull off. Not to mention way less plotholes and inconsistencies. Na, CWs premise and villains plan was as convulated and needlessly complex as TDKR. The ending to TDKR is on another level to CW which just ends up as flat as a pancake. Bane is much better than Zemo and there are actual stakes in TDKR, unlike civil war where the airport scene is a pillow playfight and the end everyone is laughing and joking as usual.

Frankly, I don't see how anyone could consider TDKR better than CW. It seems most people do, for instance TDK Rises is in the top 250 charts since years (rank 64), Cap is nowhere to be seen... The explanation is simple: Civil War sucked, TDK Rises rocked. Seriously the former was not even a Cap movie, but sidelined Cap for Black Catman, Spider Man and Iorn Man's mommy issues,...speaking of nowhere to be seen...

Because you think that trying to bomb a city but giving it a bunch of weeks before it goes off is somehow not convoluted and unnecessary? Zemo was a villain but not the source of the main conflict. It was Cap vs. IM, which is how CW was marketed. The better question would be, did the drama of Batman vs. Bane turn out better than Cap vs. IM? Zemo would be more comparable to Talia. A villain but not quite the main villain. As for the "pillowfight" as you describe it, I'd take that any day over the stop-and-go wooden fight scenes TDKR had where people fell down without even getting hit.
