Fake FG didn't cost Seattle the win, it cost them an overtime to play. Hyperbole all over the place.
In other news... lols Pete Carroll

An ugly win is still a wins. Seattle must have missed a payment. Officials favored the seahags but no mystery penalties at end of game to gift them an extension on their monday night football win streak. Atlanta's special teams tried their best to extend that streak though. God Damn. Atlanta definitely with a decent shot to get a wild card and control their own destiny to even win the division.
Methuselah Brees and the taints are looking tough though. Insane to think if playoffs started tomorrow everyone but Tampa in the NFC South would be in. I totally predicted the division wrong. I thought Tampa would challenge the Falcons but Atlanta would win it. Carolina would be around 500 and this would finally be the year that lil Drew would start eroding and the saints would be last. Doh!

That was way too nerve wracking for me, but I'm glad the Falcons hung on. Once again, they couldn't put their opponent away and nearly blew a big lead with weak play calling and miscues, but they held on. Their offense is looking a lot sharper the last couple of weeks, but I wish they would let Ryan throw and air the ball out more, that's what the Falcons do best.
Blair Walsh continues to be an unreliable kicker, how is he still the main kicker for an NFL team?
Russell Wilson kept the Seahawks in the game, he made a lot of great plays despite a terrible offensive line and no running game. The Seahawks are done this year IMO without Sherman and Chancellor.

They were a FG away from tying it (and left 3 points on the field at the end of the first half - then again with this kicker who knows?) so I wouldn't go so far as to say they're done just yet. Rams play the Saints next and could very well lose while Seattle have the 49ers.
