Not really. I gave it a 5/10. Some things I like but I have more negitive thoughts about it than positive.

Yes. It's easily the worst of the three. But I still find a lot of the movie very enjoyable. Especially when Batman comes into story and is being chased by Gotham PD.

Not really. It's a final part that goes out of its way to undo everything the previous two movies set up. It really feels like it'd've made a better Part 4, than a part 3.

I don't think I've seen such a major blockbuster have so many plotholes, inconsistencies and just generally stupid scenes. BB and TDK were great. TDKR "looked" great on the outside but was really very weak.

It's alright. I feel like it was kind of a letdown after the excellent The Dark Knight though. Definitely didn't live up to the two films that came before it.

Really hated the movie. I thought it was a weird, joyless, classist Randian nightmare and a huge letdown from the previous two films.

11 votes "no"...because it is the film fans deserve, but not the one they need right now.
One of my favorite moments from the movie - Batman's first appearance after 8 years.

classist Randian nightmare That's giving the movie too much credit. It throws a lot of stuff at the wall, but never really has the balls to say anything. Nolan basically said as much in interviews. Anyway, I wouldn't call TDKR a bad film...objectively. But at the same time, I don't like it. The scenes with Alfred are good, and I like Hathaway's Catwoman. The rest I don't care for.

Rises almost made never want to see a DC movie. Too long, terrible action scenes and Bane is miscast. At least MOS came out thefollowing year.

Yes. It is the most ambitious summer blockbuster of all time.
A near masterpiece.

I confess I have yet to see it. I was in fanboy mode for Begins and TDK, but that changed after Iron Man 1 because it was fun in a way they weren't. MCU Phase 1 in general kind of turned me off to the Nolan films, and TDKR's plot doesn't sound like a good Batman story.
The Nolan films may be technically superior, but they dip into "realism" and self-importance too much. MCU Phase 1 was the most consistent mix of serious and fun unlike future Phases, and Iron Man 1 is still the best MCU film. Batman is still my favorite superhero though. Always was.

To me its a bit of a 50-50 flick. I remember I watched it in theatre on friday night and came out in awe. Later I watched a couple of more times and it got more annoying every time.
Batman Begins is burned on my retinals and I love every second. The Dark Knight I can rewatch and still not get bored allthough I dont think its as great as a lot of people claim it is. TDKR.... I dont have to see that one again.

Yeah I like it BUT its not without its faults. I could have done without Robin & that Miranda character. Too many different characters and not enough Batman!
Still , despite its fault , I dug it and give it a solid 8/10. Really REALLY enjoyed the first fight between Bane & Batman (thought it was insanely well done) .
(For comparison sake, I gave TDK 10/10 and BB 9/10)

It really grew on me. It drops the ball on being a completely satisfying follow up to the previous two, and it has some real narrative weaknesses. But it's damn entertaining, well acted, has great visuals and a phenominal score.

Yes, all 3 Nolan films are flawed, but they are masterworks compared to the easy listening dreck that followed. I think they stand eye to eye to the first two Donner Superman movies and the Burton Batmans.

While it's no BB or TDK, I think it actually holds up as its storyline is set 8 years after TDK (which in turn was seamless with BB). Sure it looks & feels a bit differently... it should.
What it does have going for it also is Batman as hero, instead of anti-hero. Yes, we get it, he was a vigilante, yet we also know Batman as hero & this movie gave that angle back to us, esp the final act.
