With over 30 movies in the last 15 years, are audiences growing tired of these movies?
There are signs that they are. Its been 5 years since AVENGERS became the highest comic book movie yet, and nothing has came close to overtaking it.
These movies seem to be in a holding pattern. They do extremely well, but doesnt seem to be growing a new audience beyond their core fanbase.

I'm not a fan of them at all. It's not the fact that thee's so many of them. i'd be fine with that. It's just that they're not enought variety if you want to watch a blockbuster that isn't a superhero movie.
Plus they have a negative influence on other films (Universal horror shared universe, as an example)

Nope. More the merrier I say...it's just another source like novels, TV, history or earlier films.

No, but I've long been tired of the geeky fanboy behavior in conjunction with them. There's a lot of narrow-mindedness, purism, partisanship, etc. from those folks. It's not that dissimilar to how people act about politics or religion.

...my favorite is the Ben Afleck film "Daredevil" and since that film, I have purposely avoided these films. I own a large collection of comics dating from the 1960's through the 1990's, but have grown tired of all the films...

30 movies in one genre in 15 years is not a lot. How many Westerns were produced in the decade of the 1950's? I don't see any evidence of audiences growing tired of comic book movies. It is a popular genre that technology has only recently caught up to.

Not a big fan. I'm happy with them if they support the studios enough for them to release more interesting films that I would be interested in.

After Infinity War 2, I'll probably dial way way back.

Yes. Every now and then a good one will come along, but the entire genre is polluted by formulaic and uninspired bores.

I think I have CGIphobia (pronounced "siggyphobia" - a mental disorder I just made up) which is fear of watching a super hero movie.

Yes. Too many just feel like they're being made for the sake of being made as well as to just set up for the next film instead of be its own story.

I'm only asking because you seem to be presenting arguments that aren't true and are making a big deal out of things that really aren't an issue. For example, two movies a year from one genre is not a lot. Also, the whole notion that the genre is losing popularity because the highest grossing movie in that category has not been surpassed. It's like saying a really good athlete isn't good, because he or she did surpassed the greatest of all time. That's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure that some kind of logical fallacy.

For me, JL was either going to be the "cherry on top" or "the nail in the coffin" I think we all know how that worked out.

I'm tired of bad/mediocre ones. The genre needs to step it's game up
