If we are talking about domestic pets then cats, but if we include wild animals like foxes and wolves then dogs.

If we are talking about domestic pets then cats, but if we include wild animals like foxes and wolves then dogs. It's "than" NOT "then"!

All threads he has started are blank as well as his online status and post total so I just ignored him just to tidy up the board.

If we are including foxes and wolves (which are both canines) then Dacron chooses dogs. Commas save lives. Let's eat Grandma. Let's eat, Grandma.

Commas save lives. Let's eat Grandma. Let's eat, Grandma. I see. So, he's making a statement, NOT making a comparison. So you're correct that it is indeed "then" and NOT "than".

When you have a learning disability in reading comprehension like I have you pick up some tricks of the trade. One of mine is translation. Substitute words you are familiar with when you come across a new word.
Another trick is to read what you wrote aloud and read it how it sounds in your mind, with punctuation and tone. Then read it aloud again EXACTLY as it is written and see which sounds better.

Can someone explain why deembastille can't read my posts? Is this a problem other posters are having as well?
