Rodman, Draymond, Embiid (obviously since that was in the OP), Ewing, Barkley, maybe Kobe.

It's like listening to Kobe Bryant.
This guy is a killer.

Draymond, Curry, Durant. OBJ. From the past, Shaq (did hate him before LA), Wilt (ditto), Jabbar (ditto), Claude Lemieux (did hate him before NJ), Lawrence Taylor, Scott Stevens

This was tough to watch - especially as he was getting escorted off the ice. This was pretty much the end of Lindros in Philly.

Not on my team, but... Matt Rhead of Lincoln City springs to mind.
Undeniably a dirty bastard, but the Imps fans love him on their side.

I hate Matt Harvey and he IS on my team. What the hell happened to him? Didn't he have a couple of solid seasons but suffered through some injuries and had Tommy John? Which granted is tough to come back from - but correct me if I'm wrong - didn't he just 'disappear' for a bit - like not show up or something to a game? Is it substance abuse? Or am I thinking of somebody else? I know Derrick Rose pulled this too in New York - literally just did not show up for a Knicks game and didn't give his team any notice. Or is he just a shell of himself due to injuries?

I'm confused. For example:
I hate Randy Moss, but loved it when he scored TD's and when he wiped his ass on the goalpost at Lambeau. When he went to the Pats I just hated him.
I hated Brett Farve when he played for the Packers, but loved him when he came to Minnesota.

If Embiid was on another team - I'd hate his guts. But he's on the Sixers - so I love him - it's kind of sick in a way

I hate Matt Harvey and he IS on my team. just have the mets trainer give him a physical...that should end him! They finally fired Ray Ramirez, so now there is at least hope that when a player gets hurt, he'll actually go on the DL and not just try to walk it off, resulting in a 60-day DL stint.

He'll probably end up getting a job with the Sixers.

Or is he just a shell of himself due to injuries? The injuries are definitely a contributing factor, they'd have to be given it's been two major injuries. His velocity is materially down as his command. Back in 2012/2013 when he first came up and was dominant, his high fastball had such life to it. It had that extra pop and late movement and he was able to use his breaking ball, which was 20 mph slower, to make hitters look foolish. I distinctly remember one game in 2013 when he pitched a 1-hit shutout against the Rockies. I had box seats, right behind home plate and he made Todd Helton look absolutely ridiculous all night long. Pure domination. So yeah, injuries, but also his attitude fucking sucks and it always has. He has no interest in the fans, he has no interest in being part of the community. I've been at charity events where he's been there as a featured guest and he just sit in the corner pouting until his alotted hour is up and he sneaks away, while Curtis Granderson can't take enough pictures, shake enough hands, be more gracious etc. Plus, last year, I had it on pretty good authority that he had a cocaine problem. You can take that as you will, and I certainly can't say for sure (I never saw him do it nor do I know him personally) but it wouldn't surprise me at all. I think his issue with disappearing earlier this season was related to that based on how the teammates reacted; they all but said there was a known issue but nobody said what it was. This isn't to say I think Harvey shouldn't enjoy the NY night life. Far from it. Playing in NY as a young athlete making tons of money is awesome and should be enjoyed. But Derek Jeter played here for 20 years at the highest level imaginable and he enjoyed the fuck out of living in NY. He banged supermodels. He went to all the top restaurants and clubs. And he NEVER, not one time, did anything suspect, never raised an eyebrow of a report/teammate/fan, never missed a team function and was always front and center on community events. That's how you do it. Harvey just doesn't get it.

Deion Sanders. I didn't like him even when he was playing for the Cowboys.
