Aren't they done filming?
I don't see anyway that they cancel the movie if he is accused of something. Maybe if it hadn't started filming yet, but there's no way the studio is going to willingly lose out on that much money.

And remember, Netflix cancelled Gore Vidal biography while it was still in post-production when Kevin Spacey scandal got erupted.

But a Netflix biography doesn't cost a studio $150 million - which is the rumored budget of Ready Player One before promotions and some of the confusing copyright stuff goes through. |

Well, given that we're living in a time when every single rumors blind gossips/items, and conspiracy theories around famous men could be 100% true, wouldn't it be easy to assume that the whole film will be scrapped entirely?
I mean, they can't market a film directed by someone who is accused of something...
