How's the book? I read Robopocalypse before that movie was supposed to come out (pfft) and thought it was ok; it killed the time.

I'm probably not much help, but I have one cousin and a friend who are bigtime book geeks and they loved it. When I say book geeks, I mean they only like books that are very well written and they are pretty picky. I have not read it myself, but I'm sure Spielberg can do it justice.

I'd still like it if they kept up with the Tintin movies. I enjoyed the 2011 adaptation.

I've read it and I enjoyed it quite a bit. If you're into cyberpunk or even just sci-fi, it might be up your alley. If I had to briefly summarize the plot, it's a bit like Willy Wonka set in the Shadowrun universe. In fact, it's a lot like that. The tone is mostly serious, though, and there are plenty of twists and turns along the way that make it a nice page turner.
Overall, it's a brisk, engaging read and easy to finish in a couple of days even for a casual reader. No sense in not checking it out.
