I hate to say this because I'm sure their are some hardcore fans out there who bleed Griz colors - but they're one of those franchises in my eyes where I could care less if they existed or not. Kind of like the Tampa Bay Lightning in hockey, Tampa Bay Devil Rays in baseball and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in football ......... Does Michael Conley still have one of the highest paid contracts in the NBA - I couldn't pick him out of a lineup - no clue what he looks like - and I've never heard one soundbite from him

You think Memphis is a non-entity in the NBA? You think Mike Conley is a nothing? Wow. Uhh, the first two weeks of this season, Conley was the best player in the league. Hands down, no one was better. He's super talented and if I had to build a team with five guys, Conley would be on my team. He is also super cool. Interviews with him are great, he has the best smile in all of sports, and he has a great look going this year. Being a New Yorker one might think what I am about to say is a typical NY boast, but, no, it is so true, especially in Conley's case. If Mike Conley played in New York (or LA or Chicago or Boston), he'd be one of the biggest sports stars in America. Playing in a place like Memphis truly does inhibit one's star potential, and that is what is happening to Conley. It is what it is, but it is also unfair. Conley truly is one of the best b-ball players to watch play. He should be one of our biggest sports stars. But no matter, he still is a phenomenally great player. And the Grizz are also a great watch. When they had Zack Randolph, oh, they were a top five team to see. But now, even without Zebo they still have a number of players that are interesting to watch. Chandler Parsons, Marc Gasol, Tyreke Evans, Ben McLemore, Mario Chalmers, one of the Harrison bothers from Kentucky, and Conley are all almost household names amongst b-ball fans. How can you not know those guys? All very talented. How could you not want to see Marc Gasol play? I really find it odd that you know zilch about Conley. Not knowing Conley would be like not knowing Le'Veon Bell or Julio Jones in the NFL.

I can give 2 craps what goes on in Elvis Land - it's like caring about hockey in Florida.

Apparently it was Marc Gasol's doing, and due to his contract, he got his way.

Apparently it was Marc Gasol's doing, and due to his contract, he got his way. Chandler Parsons was just getting roasted on Cowherd by Stephen Jackson. Apparently the two just had a 'Twitter War' with Jackson questioning Parson's heart and Parson coming back who's he to question anybody and it's a brotherhood - singling out all of his injuries too. Parsons made a big deal a couple of weeks or so back about the Memphis fans booing him for his lack of production. What happened to Memphis? How did they fall apart so quickly. Departure of Zach Randolph?
