Yeah. The wars over who is better are dumb and as somebody who loves characters under DC, Marvel, Image Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, IDW, Aspen, Zenescope, Acton Lab and Bubble Comics to name a few I don't really care what company they are under and care more about the characters and the writers but with the new Witchblade series starting this month, The Magdalena returning earlier this year and brand new series of Cyberforce, the Darkness and Aphrodite IV all starting next year Top Cow is definitely my favourite comic book company at the moment and I am hoping they bring back Danielle Baptiste as the Angelus next!!

I have a solution for the problem. Why doesn't stay anyone on the franchise boards, people prefer? MCU fans stay on the MCU boards DCEU fans stay on the DCEU boards XCU fans stay on the XCU boards This will be become more pieceful tha, without any insults and bashing. And normal film fans who can enjoy movies from all this 3 franchises, can move free. MCU fans stay on the MCU boards DCEU fans stay on the DCEU boards XCU fans stay on the XCU boards No, this wont work. This is too logical. Logic doesn't make sense in this feud. Only fanaticism, disbelief, anger and misunderstanding, as fueled by the fact that we're all hiding behind computers and not in each others faces.
The real reason why this wouldn't work too is because the ones who stir up the most shit have openly stated that they do it for fun, to get people riled up.

It's childish and unnecessary, you can enjoy both equally. However, the people trying to pin the blame on who started it all doesn't do anybody any favors - it'll only add more fuel to the fire, which is contradictory when they start by saying "its unnecessary".

The reason this feud keeps going on is because MCU fans keep making up lies and won't even admit the truth. For example, here's a thread in which a lying MCU fan made up a bullshit claim that MCU announced a Captain Marvel movie first and then WB copied MCU by announcing a Wonder Woman movie. IMDB2.freeforums.net/thread/73351/years-finally-make-wonder-womanNow the question of which side started the feud is debatable. But the question of which movie was announced first - Wonder Woman or Captain Marvel - isn't debatable at all. It's a known fact that WB announced a Wonder Woman movie 2 weeks before MCU announced a Captain Marvel movie. Now a truly unbiased MCU fan would acknowledge that fact and admit that WB beat MCU there. But rather than acknowledge the facts, some MCU fans rather make up lies, the sole intent of which is to try to claim that MCU is superior to WB, even though the facts in this case are against them. That's why there's no end to this feud. Because MCU fans refuse to acknowledge the facts and admit that DC beat MCU and instead intentionally distort the truth to try to claim that MCU is superior.

The reason this feud keeps going on is because Both sides are contributing.

Please let's try not to turn this thread into another round of bickering from both sides. I'm only posting this poll because I'd be interested in seeing, after much discussion on the subject, where everyone on this board actually stands regarding this "feud." Please note that I am only referring to the movies in question on these boards, not to the comic books in general. By "DC," I should emphasize, I'm including the Christopher Nolan films, even if they are not part of this so-called "DCEU." By "justified," I mean, "Should this feud continue, until one side admits that, whatever its prejudices, the other's movies are better?" The first part may inspire a gut reaction of "no," but I'm aware that the second part may cause fans to think this through a bit more. Again, please, no name-calling, vituperation, or grade-school insults. Please do let's behave like adults, ladies and gentlemen; while this poll may seem to lead to what I don't want, I truly want to know what our members actually think. Many thanks. EDIT: Should anyone post anything that is name-calling, vituperation, and sophomoric insults, let me ask everyone not to respond in kind. Just post your opinion, respectfully, and move on. There isn't really a feud, and what I mean by that is it's like saying there is a feud between people who think the Earth is flat and people who don't. There really isn't.

The real reason why this wouldn't work too is because the ones who stir up the most shit have openly stated that they do it for fun, to get people riled up. That's true in some cases. But in just as many cases I have come up against people that are truly fanatical in their zeal. Whenever you think that only one side is right and the other side is wrong all the time then you might just be a nut.
I have always enjoyed both Marvel and DC, in comics AND movies, I have been quite clear that I agreed Civil War was the better movie between it and BvS, and most of all I am so glad that we currently live in what I consider the Golden Age of comic book super hero movies. There's something for all of us.
But how can you be a comic book super hero movie fan, and enjoy ONLY Marvel? That's too one sided for me. In fact I sincerely hope that independent comic book companies get their properties into movies too, so we can have even MORE variety. With Sony, Fox and Universal also having stakes in Marvel properties I think Marvel has too much of a hold on the genre, and its un-healthy overall.

None of us want to just enjoy Marvel, it's just that DC isn't doing so hot.

I have to change my vote from "Other" to "It's ridiculous, and by and large Marvel fans are responsible" and I have a very good reason for why I have to change my vote. An MCU troll (I won't mention his name, but he was recently banned for 2 weeks for excessive trolling) who has repeatedly claimed that he has me on Ignore yesterday sent me a troll PM saying that he has never read anything I've posted but now he wants to know how I feel about Justice League's box office numbers.
So clearly, it's MCU fans who are responsible for this DC-Fox-Sony vs MCU feud. The irony is that MCU wouldn't even exist if not for Superman: The Movie starting this current era of big-budget superhero movies. But some MCU fans hate anything that isn't MCU so much that they don't want to give any credit to Superman: The Movie for making this current era of big-budget superhero movies possible and making MCU possible.

The entire point of the thread was that WB had a habit of announcing a Wonder Woman movie every few years and never coming through. Those 20 years of false announcements occurred before the Captain Marvel announcement. Wonder Woman started filming after the CM announcement. The “liar” here is you, cupcake. Now, the question is - do you do it intentionally to stoke the feud, or are you really as galactically stupid as you appear?

Yeah one MCU fan is a shit stirrer, so obviously MCU fans are the cause of all the shit. Nice logic, my friend. ”One mean MCU fan sent me a mean PM, therefore it’s liek totally clear MCU fans are responsible for the feud!1!” Yeah...

I vote that both are responsible and it's quite ridiculous. I love both Marvel and DC and want them both to succeed. Picking one side and wishing badly for the other to fail is childish and pedantic. It's just as silly as thinking you can only like either Star Wars or Star Trek and not both.

It's difficult because there are so many "fanatics" that I'm pretty sure don't even actually care. They just like to upset people and start fights.
If the feud isn't going to end, it'd be nice if everyone at least wiped the slate clean. Like I'm tired of reading the same old arguments day after day. Anything having to do with Marvel or DC before 2017 should just stop being argued about. There should be a board wide "agree to disagree" about past movies and just start focusing on current and future films.

On the original IMDB boards there were a number of members that admitted to not being fans of DC or Marvel or comic book movies in general but just enjoyed trolling the boards and watching both fandoms fight with each other.
