There seems to be a lot of hate for that new Olaf short in front of Coco. I haven't seen it yet so I can't speak for it,but the Frozen short that was in front of the Cinderella remake was pretty bad as well.
I'm hoping people are finally realizing that Frozen wasn't all that great to begin with. The characters just aren't that interesting and Olaf really is kind of annoying, but that could also be because of Josh Gad.
In my personal opinion,Frozen does not hold up well after a 2nd viewing and I actually hope they cancel Frozen 2 altogether.

Doesn't matter. The first movie made a billion dollars and God knows how much in merchandise. The Cars movies awoke a sleeping giant and Disney will milk Frozen for all it's worth.

There should have been an "indifferent" option as I don't care either way. That said, while Frozen Fever was an awful short, the Christmas special in front of Coco was enjoyable enough. I still think Frozen is a top level Disney film, one of my favorites, but I've never really liked the idea of a sequel.

Frozen was awesome, and Olaf's song about summer was a delightful highlight.

I also thought that Frozen wasn't actually that good; certainly not as good as all the hype it was getting. I guess it appealed strongly to a certain demographic.
But no they shouldn't scrap it. It made tons of money, and as a business that's what the company wants. People like you and me just wont see it.

Disney wouldn’t cancel Frozen 2 if someone held a gun to Bob Iger’s head.

Frozen is Elsa and Anna...not this Olaf...he is just an annoying sidekick.

From a financial perspective, it makes no sense. Unless it's a disaster of a sequel, it's gonna be huge.

This is nothing more than ridiculous click bait with no real substance. The only problem here is putting a 21 minute Christmas special before a full length feature in theaters. If the Frozen Christmas Special had just aired on TV like originally planned, there would be no "controversy".
