I'm back, and still frustrated. Can you please clarify this: "-- Both Actors were WINNERS when the same Actor Performer lost to them both on two different occasions. -- Both Actresses were WINNERS when the same Actress Performer lost to them both in two separate years." Does that mean on one occasion it can be as a Best Actor/Actress role, and on another occasion be in a Best Supporting Actor/Actress role? Thanks yep, Spider -- it can be in either acting category (lead or support) as long as the performer had two and only two career nominations and lost both times -- to the linked winning performers. Stallone had two nominations (ROCKY & CREED) -- losing to Peter Finch and to Mark Rylance.

Wow! The hardest part of that game was understanding the directions. I posted one answer and my breakfast came. By the time I finished, it became a little clearer.
One of the hardest thing was 1930. Two ceremonies that year an IMDb didn't want to display either of time, so had to work around that.

93/105 Melinda Dillon Redgrave - Julia Stapleton - Reds GOOD ENOUGH, MICK !!! (requesting the 'W' label too -- just in case). This was my first post in the game, and your response totally threw me off because I did it wrong, but you said "Good enough" and asked me to add the 'W' label. So I thought I was doing it correctly since you didn't say it was wrong. This is what I should have posted:
93/105 Melinda Dillon W. Redgrave. Close Encounters of the Third Kind W. Stapleton. Absence of Malice
Very confusing and overly-complicated.

Gee, I thought the directions were pretty simple. But to quote Cagney in STRAWBERRY BLONDE: "That's just the kind of a hairpin I am."

Kijii,
The secret to this game was to :
Find an actor who only won one Oscar
Click on the Awards link for that person
Eliminate any Oscar winners or those who were only nominated once or more than twice
Then go to the non-Winner second nom, and get the winner.
Then connect all the dots.
I'm just hoping IMDb doesn't mess up things too much inthe future.
