Mainly DC. I prefer most of the stuff Pre- Flashpoint. I really enjoyed Superman: Birthright; that's my preferred origin story for him. Wally West will always be my Flash. I can't think of any of the titles off hand, and when I started getting into the TPBs, I was getting them from the library and originally not in the correct order! So I ended up reading many of them again once I had a sense of some of the earlier reference points. The story with Hunter becoming Zoom and trying to bring tragedy to Wally's life was great; Hal/Spectre erasing Wally's secret identity from everyone, including Wally and his wife was good. I do love how they brought him back post-flashpoint, where they establish the other Wally as his cousin; and no one can remember him, until he connects with Barry; and Barry can't believe he didn't remember him - just so good. Huge fan of the Booster Gold series with Rip Hunter; I love that Booster turns out to be Rip's father. In a similar vein, it's added an extra layer of disappointment with Legends; because I really hoped it would have drawn something from that series. My favorite moment would be Rip demonstrating to Booster how you can't change history (in the comics), by telling him he has to go back and prevent Barbara Gordon from being shot by the Joker; only to get his ass handed to him over and over. And then to have the pictures of that effort be found by Batman and instills in him a level of trust and respect for Booster because of that was just pure gold (no pun intended... alright, pun intended...) Always loved the friendship between Booster and Yes Kord too. Justice League Dark had a good start, and I think could make an amazing tv series; maybe with a different name, like House of Mystery, or something. Arguably would have made more sense to have done that as the format for Legends, with Arthur Darvill playing Constantine instead of Rip; House of Mystery instead of the Waverider - it wouldn't have been that far off, come to think of it.... The Long Halloween is terrific. While not a comic, Batman: Forensic Files is a great addition to the Batman lore; exploring the investigative and scientific side of Bruce's work, and it's phenomenal. Would love to see a comic book or tv adaptation of that. Any Wonder Woman book by Mark Waid or Greg Rucka. I vaguely remember Countdown to Final Crisis being mostly enjoyable, but then Final Crisis was just terrible in my opinion. I think that (Final Crisis) might have been the book that made me look at who the author was (Grant Morrison) and see what else he had written, and realized that he had written most if not all of the DC stories I didn't like. And then around that time, and possibly as a direct consequence, I came across Geoff Johns name and realized he'd written many of the stories I really liked.

I havent read comics in a long time either-though I was into Spider-man mainly. The Ditko ones were my favorite. And Conan.
Then I was getting Dark Horse comics like Aliens vs Predator, Terminator.. The last mainstream comic I bought I think was the Death of Superman, but I also got some comics art books-Adam Hughes, Brian Bolland, Alex Ross.
Recently I have looked at some old ones again just for nostalgia sake and catching up on ones I missed (I had not seen all the Ditko Spider-man comics until a couple years ago).

Beano Dandy Dennis The Menace *pretty sure he had a solo comic run at some point* **UK version not that American tripe mind you** ***may have been called Dennis & Gnasher but I'm not 100%***
Never really read the typical superhero comics mind you, have read a few & got a couple X-Men, Spider-Man, Superman & Batman's knocking about though, first one I ever read was The Killing Joke which seeing as I only knew the characters from the TV & Movies seeing Joker shoot and possibly sexually assault Batgirl was a odd intro into the actual realm of the comics especially for an 11 year old.
