The following is a list of films shown on the television of former East Germany from Saturday 14 July 1979 to Friday 20 July 1979. The source is a West German television magazine called Funk Uhr. Along with cinema films, the list also includes 3 TV movies. Additionally, there was a two-part TV movie version of "The Prince and the Pauper" (titled "Der Prinz und der Bettelknabe") which I can't find on IMDb. The magazine indicates the TV movie was B&W, so it was likely already old by 1979. (and yes, the magazine specifically states it is a TV movie, so it cannot be the Errol Flynn film!) I have no idea if anyone finds this interesting. I hope someone finds this interesting. I find interesting, at least..... (and no, I can't read German. Google Translate proved very helpful) Saturday 14 July 1979 11:35AM, first channel: Auf der Suche nach Gatt (1976) (TV movie) 9:30PM, first channel: Police Python 357 (1976) 4:05PM, second channel: Pokus o vrazdu (1973) 8:00PM, second channel: Idealist (1976) Sunday 15 July 1979 8:00PM, first channel: Liebling, Du irrst (1979) (TV movie) 9:15PM, second channel: Die Straße (1923) Monday 16 July 1979 3:10PM, first channel: Mlodosc Chopina (1952) 8:00PM, second channel: Wasser für Canitoga (1939) Tuesday 17 July 1979 10:00AM, first channel: Wasser für Canitoga (1939) 6:00PM, second channel: Pilatelistis sikvdili (1969) 8:00PM, second channel: Die unheilige Sophia (1975) (TV Movie) (Part 1) Wednesday 18 July 1979 2:10PM, first channel: Skarb kapitana Martensa (1957) 3:30PM, first channel: Nicht schummeln, Liebling (1973) 8:00PM, second channel: Die unheilige Sophia (1975) (TV Movie) (Part 2) Thursday 19 July 1979 2:40PM, first channel: Vállald önmagadat (1975) Friday 20 July 1979 2:25PM, first channel: Die geheimnisvolle insel (According to the magazine, it was a Soviet B&W film. After doing a bit of searching with Google and playing around with Google Translate, I believe this to be the 1941 film Tainstvennyy ostrov, but I could be wrong on that) 9:50PM, first channel: Réjeanne Padovani (1973)

That's interesting. Thanks.
Alain Corneau's popular police thriller 'Police Python 357', screening on Saturday 14th July, was a co-production between France and Germany.
