Better they ruin the Trek than the Wars! Hee hee hee The thing is... a lot of Trek fans dont like what JJ has been doing with Trek. But the truth is that series abd movies like we have had in the 90/00's wouldnt work today. The universe made then is iconic but it would be considered boring now. I, as a life long Trekkie, think that Beyond and Discovery are excellent Trek things for this day and age. #teamcolden |

I've never been a huge Trek fan, but having seen some of the original series on DVD I learned to appreciate its intelligence. It had a lot of philosophical based stories and I think that was the core of the show. It's true though that modern sci fi isn't like that. But I think it should be. I barely even watch modern sci fi movies because they've basically all become either action movies or romance or some other genre masquerading as sci fi. Also I'm just not a fan at all of JJ or Terantino. |
