It seems imminent that Disney is going to buy a Fox, so my question isn't should it happen but how should they handle it?
Deadpool should remain its own thing IMO.
I have no idea what I would do with the X-Men. I don't think that you can simply bring over the same actors. Hell, some of them have retired from the roles. Starting over just seems weird though. It's going to feel like a knockoff, because there's almost 20 years worth of material on film with these characters.
Is there is interest in the Fantastic 4 anymore? Since none of those movies appear to "exist", recasting them would be a lot easier.

Let 2018 be the swan song of the XMEN's Fox series. Wait a year or two to plan a new entire franchise and cast new actors. This assuming that all goes well.

Is there another X-Men movie slated to come in 2018? What about that new TV show? I've never seen it but I think that's supposed to be a part of the X-Men universe.

Introducing mutants in the MCU is a piece of cake... In the 60's there was an increased mutant activity that was erradicated by whomever. After the incident, Xavier starts to think that they should be part of society, but he is affraid to prevent another erradication he erased the previous events until the new generation is ready to be unleashed. DONE.

Hoho, we're getting THREE movies in 2018.

And Marvel casting going to work on the X-men characters is one of the best parts of this. I would put the FF in with another character/characters to bring them in myself. Maybe one of the other characters having a conflict with Dr Doom...and enter FF.

Everyone else can (and should) get replaced.

Or.. get a Caucasian actress that can do a British accent for a limited time. And then get an Asian actress that can do the same accent. I'd rather they give the characters story. Not just have them ready-made so they can do have them as "eye candy".

Which she may be able to do if she's asked to do it (which I believe she wasn't in Apocalypse). So I don't see the need to get a different Asian actress.

Why would Olivia Munn's Psylocke suddenly have an Asian accent?* That's why I switched to it being that they should get the original Psylocke first. I think I'd rather they do the body swap story with her. Which is funny because they had some one that could have actually played the British Psylocke. *At least with Storm you can say that she had an accent her whole life (as shown in Apocalypse) and was working to get rid of it. Doing so by X2.

Xavier and Magneto were SHIELD's first Super powered operative maybe back in the 1950s and were the ones who came up with the Avengers Initiative. But they had a falling out with SHIELD and left to do their own thing. But they get sucked through a time portal that lands both of them in the modern era where mutants are finally emerging.
So they need to adapt to the present day and other superbeings while having their own ideas of how to deal with the new generation of mutants.

Personally I would recast everyone and start with the original six x men for the first movie. Have them fight Mr Sinister first as he has not been done yet. Have Magneto make an appearance but not as the villain, save him for the sequel. They can do a crossover film next where the x men meet the avengers.

You already have an Asian actress, you just need a british accent. They can always do flashback scenes to when she was caucasian if they want.
