I gave it an 8/10--10/10 for the first 45 minutes on the magical Island, superbly done, then 6/10 for the abrupt grim change of WW I which really dragged in places(although the 'Help Her!!" battle scene was great) then 8/10 for the final battle with Aries--Gal Gadot is flawless as Wonder Woman

This. If they had used Cheetah, Circe, Giganta, Medusa, Decay or Silver Swan I think they would have been. Some might disagree with me but I think using Ares was the movie's biggest mistake 'cause most of Wonder Woman's villains are female and her biggest and most well known villain has always been Cheetah and Cheetah is the equivalent of Wonder Woman's Joker and Lex Luthor. Ares' children appeared more in the comic books than Ares and they have blown the chances of using them having Ares in the first movie but I think 'Wonder Woman 2' is going to be better and most rumours are pointed at Cheetah being the main villain this time.
