If/When Disney gets the rights do you think they will do some kind of multiverse storyline to get the mutants into the MCU?? Like Doctor Strange can be the key, I must say it would take some convincing to say Mutants and the X Men have been there since the beginning. thoughts??

Egh, they'll probably write it off as too complicated. I'm betting it'd wind up as a clean reboot of the entire XMEN film series.

Some throwaway line that they were around but were not as common as they are at whatever time they appear in the MCU. Like urban myths or legends were just based off mutant sightings.

I think they'll go with something like the Morlocks that live in the tunnels underground to stay away from the normal people. Then the mutants who look normal have hid in plain sight type of thing. No idea none of them would of came out after seeing people like Tony Stark, Captain America and such be viewed as heroes. Hell no mutant would really look as bad as Hulk would I wouldn't think so no clue why they'd have stayed hidden. Either they just do something where all the sudden the X-gene or whatever it was called I forget gets awaken all the sudden in people or they do some sort of dimension travel I get the feeling it's gonna be pretty lazy tbh.
I imagine it has to include Scarlet Witch somehow as they'd have to address her being Magneto's daughter I would think. They've never fully delved into why she is the way she is only than she was special if I remember right.

Same way the X-Men movies explained why the Government was only starting to get worried about mutants in the year 2000 when they'd been around since the 1960s.

The whole idea that normal looking mutants have hid in plain site the whole time, just ignores the idea that any of them accidently used their powers for the first time in public or in front of anybody. And they all chose to keep them secret? All of them? No kid with ice or fire powers decided to be a show off? Really?
IDK, I really think they'll just keep them in a separate continuity but still reboot it. They've got plenty to work with without bringing them in.
