The X-Men films have all of the sophistication of a bad YA sci-fi novel. They're all so didactic and designed to be 101-style introductions to complex social problems. It is bad to be racist. Anger leads to hatred. Don't be afraid of people who are different than you... and other lessons of that ilk. Hee hee hee... Still better than anything depicted in Disney's McU The MCU bothered reminding people that Germany and its people were the first ones "conquered" and oppressed by the Nazis. X-Men is too incompetent to bother with that level of Humanity.

I for one can't wait for real X-Men movies to get made under Disney. I am sick of seeing Wolverine-Magneto: Stryker movies where the X-Men make a glorified cameo. I hope they reboot and give the X-Men and their villains the treatment they deserve.
