Pleased that McInnes has remained loyal to the Dons and their fans. His team have made serious challenges to Celtic over the recent seasons but inevitably their top players go looking for better wages elsewhere. Hayes joined Celtic, Jack went to Rangers, McGinn to South Korea. There's talk of McLean moving on and Christie will surely be recalled by Celtic next season. He has brought in Stevie May and Gary Mackay-Stevens but neither of them made much of an impact at their previous clubs, Shef Wednesday and Celtic. I fancy that he will need a Asian investor to take the team any further This leaves the Zombies with more egg on their face. Dave King did say that his short-list did not include any candidates who are currently not employed as managers which seems to rule out McLeish. Who's left ? Tommy Wright, Michael O'Neill, Jack Ross, Gordon Strachan ?

The hilarity continues! It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas indeed.

Woo! They've released a statement, which is always good for an extra layer of comedy gold - rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/club-statement-83/Call me cynical if you must, but "the mentality to cope with the demanding off-pitch environment" reads to me like code for "must be able to do job while wading through blood of a particular provenance". Excellent stuff as ever.
