NBA Fans.
Correct me if I'm wrong - I thought the trade period began 12/15.
Unless this is one of these deals that is agreed upon in principle and will go down on the 15th.
Sixers trading Oak and Sauce (and possibly a 2nd Rounder) for Trevor Booker (at first I thought it was Devin from Phoenix and my eyes lit up).
Any Nets fans here?
OK - all joking aside - No Nets fans here but has anybody seen a great deal of Booker's work?
Oak and Sauce were two great troopers here - wish them well and hope they succeed and this is a great opportunity for them to get minutes and shine.
** Edit - I'm physically ill. I get Oak and Sauce didn't have a 'Ph'uture here - but this is all they got - this 30 year old Dud?
I'm going to puke.

He's worth about $9 million when he comes off the books.

He's worth about $9 million when he comes off the books. terrific point. and they've already got a ton of cash and rumors are running rampant they're going after LeBron next year and can still sign another max free agent. although many hated on Oak and Sauce here - they were good troopers. i get Oak had a scuffle in Boston and the speeding incident on the Ben Franklin Bridge - but he wasn't a malcontent (forget about his Dad) like Noel was chirping to the media 24/7. i get he's been aggravated the past couple of months - but who can blame him - wasn't bashing the team or management - he just wanted to play and wanted to go somewhere to play. not like Noel claiming he deserved more than 8 minutes a game and is now seeing limited to no playing time in Dallas because he blows and has egg all over his face because he was looking for a max deal and turned down like 4 years and 70 mil. oak has an offensive game - back to the basket like an old school '5' - which are dinsosaurs now in this league - but he's like 21. hopefully he can work on his 'D' and rebounding and turn his career around. hope all goes well for Stauskas as well. hell - even Redick struggled at first and now look him - signed like a 20 plus mil deal for one year. everyone needs a shooter. maybe the kid can finally get his confidence back

Staukas is trash. Plain and simple. Every time he entered the game he was a huge detriment to the team. He is terrible on defense and is a huge liability. This is strictly a cap space move. The Sixers will have tons of cap space in the off season.

I hope Sauce succeeds as well and is a late bloomer - turns into a Redick - that being said - Redick killed them last night. TLC needs time in the G League IMO. Everything I've been reading about Booker - it sounds like he's a lunch pail worker - gets the job done by doing the little things and grabbing boards. Bench and defense are really hurting them right now. Can't believe they've dropped 2 straight at home to the Suns and Lakers - but - growing pains. Fultz can't come back 100% soon enough. Finally back from Kentucky rehabbing his shoulder.

Finally back from Kentucky rehabbing his shoulder. It really is sad they've lost these two games. These both should have been wins and they blew them. I was really hoping they could push the 3rd seed this year but now I am not sure. Still a long way to go.
I also have a feeling that Oak will end up being pretty decent in Brooklyn. He has always had talent. It is effort that has been his issue. If he works hard there, he will do well. I still think it was good for us to get rid of him though.
