Looks like you're right. The assholes in charge at MCU may cancel X-Men: Dark Phoenix. X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX Canceled?Today will forever be remembered as the darkest day in Hollywood history. Nothing in that article says that Dark Phoenix will be canceled. Did you just read the headline and linked it here? It's DC-Fan, of course he did.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix = CancelledX-Men: Dark Phoenix finished shooting not too long ago and while the movie was recently the subject of an Entertainment Weekly cover story, it's entirely possible Disney will just scrap it and that it will never see the light of day. That may seem like a tremendous waste of money but the post-production process has only just started and the studio might be happier doing that After all, if the presence of mutants is first going to be teased in Avengers 4, Marvel Studios won't want X-Men: Dark Phoenix hitting theaters five months beforehand, confusing people as to what comes next for the heroes.

Did you read it? I'll Highlight something for you. "X-Men: Dark Phoenix finished shooting not too long ago and while the movie was recently the subject of an Entertainment Weekly cover story, it's entirely possible Disney will just scrap it and that it will never see the light of day. That may seem like a tremendous waste of money but the post-production process has only just started and the studio might be happier doing that than releasing a subpar Simon Kinberg X-Men movie which sours fans on the characters before they enter the MCU." You see that part that I highlighted? "...entirely possible..." That means that they didn't cancel the movie, but they might. Also, I couldn't help but notice that you cut off the part that talks about Kinberg making a subpar movie.

And it’s not possible at all since Disney won’t be able to take control of Fox until after Dark Phoenix release. Whoever wrote that article needs to do their research.
