Theme music from the Swedish group or charter travels to sunny Spain comedy, I think it's catchy, it's a parody/comedy, many Swedes went there for the cheap booze and tobaco.non for the culture of Mallorca or Canary Islands. I must admit I've been to the Canary Islands myself, both sober and with headaches. Let's say a decent bottle of wine costs 3 USD, but there only .10 USD,.... 1969, but I've never seen it, a parody/comedy about those quick tours many Americans do in Europe. ![]()

Polustanok Whistle Stop (1963) Soviet Union Dir,. Boris Barnet. A lonely aging city engineer and amateur artist Pavel on his doctors orders decides to holiday at a rural coastal farm collective, to paint and for much needed relaxation. Pavel is warmly greeted at the farm, and two charming children befriend him, once everyone finds out he can fix things, Pavel can hardly get a moment to himself. The young girl Nyuska exclaims and constantly reminds him, "landlords must do subsidiary work" after he cleans up and moves into an old shack ... A simple, beautifully composed heart warming film. One of my very favourite films. Pure cinematic joy, crafted with original style direct from his humanitarian heart, that magical Barnet touch ...

David Lean's Summertime (1955) ![]() ![]() and Guy Greens' Light in the Piazza (1962) ![]() ![]() How could I possibly mix up these two movies? If you add Jean Negulesco's Three Coins in the Fountain (1954), you get a Rossano Brazzi trifecta.
