I thought it was good
I'm confused why it would be considered in the Oscar race
Must be a weak year

I've never seen The Room. Is it worth a watch? It sounds more boring than entertaining.

I really don't want to see 2 hours of what I saw in the trailer of that character.

I liked how it can be viewed as the pitfalls of fame handicapping us and our relationships.

I enjoyed The Disaster Artist and plan to see it againโI consider the film "good/very good." It is certainly one of the funniest movies that I have seen among 2017 releases (perhaps the funniest), and there is some dry pathos to it, regarding the idea of taking matters into your own hands and realizing your dream in however small of a manner, rather than pandering and selling out. Plus, the film explores the notion of male bonding and how it can create both laudable loyalty and troubling entrapment. Perhaps the movie does not probe these ideas as much as it could have, but it knows what it wants to beโa slightly spooky, darkly funny, ironically rewarding entertainment piece with art mirroring life.

I loved it. I left almost the entire time. It had some genuinely good dramatic moments too. James Franco was brilliant.
